Welcome to the Department of Mathematics of the University of Coimbra. The Department of Mathematics is responsible for undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. The Department of Mathematics also hosts top level research activities in these fields. Besides these fundamental roles, the Department of Mathematics is deeply involved in mathematical activities for the non-academic and general audiences.
