    HOW TO GET TO CARVOEIRO

    If you come by plane, you should buy a ticket to Faro or to Lisboa. The airport that is most convenient for intercontinental flights is Lisboa, but Faro is much closer to Carvoeiro and there are several low-cost airlines flying to Faro from a wide range of places in Europe.

    Distances:

    • Faro Airport - Carvoeiro: 55 Km.
    • Lisboa - Carvoeiro: 250 Km.
    • Seville (Spain) - Carvoeiro: 260 Km.

    If you arrive at Faro airport, we plan to provide transportation from the airport to the Hotel Tivoli Almansor, in Carvoeiro.

    If you arrive at Lisbon airport, you can:

    • take an internal flight to Faro airport (+/- 40 min.).
    • or go to Lisboa-Oriente railway station by taxi (+/- 10 min, ~ 5 Eur) or by bus (click here for more information).
    • Then, take any train with destination Faro (+/- 3h). You should exit the train at Tunes railway station.
      There are daily trains connecting Lisboa to Faro. Types of trains:
      • Intercidades: just a few stops
      • Alfa pendular: less stops, faster.

    We plan to provide transportation by bus from Tunes railway station to the Hotel Tivoli Almansor, at the arrival of the Alfa Pendular train (21:25).

    Fares depend on the class you travel in. First class is called "Comfort" class. Second class is called "Tourist" class.
