Killing vectors and topological quantum theory
The supersymmetric model used to study circle actions on manifolds is derived from the BRST quantization of a topological model on the cotangent bundle, or, in physical language, phase space. The corresponding path integrals are rigorously formulated and exploited. A similar approach to two dimensional topological theory is investigated.
