Hello, welcome to my page!

eu

My name is Julia Bueno, and I'm brazilian mobility math student at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. In Brazil, I study in the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo.

However, my history started far away from the largest portuguese-speaking city in the world.I actually was born in Rio Grande, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, near to the southernmost tip of Brazil.
For you to go to Uruguay from there, you spend just the same time as you take to go to University of São Paulo in Butantã from my parent's house in Guarulhos (journey which I do every single day).

But in spite of that, I in fact grew up in Florianópolis, the Magic Island of my country, before I moved to São Paulo. So I indeed consider myself  a truly "manezinha da ilha" rather than a "gaúcha".

Besides of studying math, I really love reading any kind of (good) stuff, and learning French. I also like (watching, not playing) volleyball and figure skating, both my favorites sports ever. My favorite kind of music is the classical music, more specifically applied to ballet. But I also like other types of music, such as hard rock, alternative rock, and pop music.

In ice dance, my favorite couple is the canadian pair Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir. I like watching them since I was 13.

If you need some help to study many subjects of math you can find it in the MIT Open Courses channel on Youtube: MIT OpenCourseWare

Here are some tasks that I did in the discipline of computational methods in mathematics teaching: Kahoot
