I ran an os 46 sf and was very pleased. Out standing in all respects and for your information it will fly a whole lot slower than you think. the problem is that the slow speed stall is likely to be a snap roll. But once you get used to where the slow speed is it will glide about as well as any normal plane. The balance point was marked on my plane so you must have gotten an unusual one. It is where the wing pins mate to the fuse, or right on the spar. If you notice I am speaking of my Extra in the the past tence. It seems that the prehinged elevators were not strong enough to stand up to the full areobatic routines. I lost one of my elevators while I was fast and pointed straight down. Every attempt to pull up resulted in a snap and I didn't get it figured out untill I ran out of altitude. Check them often or better yet cut them and rehinge with something stronger. The balsa is very thin with a covering of foam. Mine were not centered in the basa and the glue had not penetrated so it ripped out the balsa where it had managed to attahed to. Good luck ! -- Lee Pierce hm 903 893 4841 wk 214 997 1918 euslpi@memo.ericsson.se Out of altitude and ideas at the same time.
