Programm organization - informative note:
The present programm is on a preliminary level. The subjects' order may
be changed and other sub-topics will certainly be introduced, according
to the projects received.
1. The activities will develop in the following way:
- Important themes introduced by a Lecture ( A ) under the
responsibility of a national or foreign personality, invited by AEEEMC.
- Communications of research works ( B ) and free communications ( C ),
fitting the theme. They will be grouped in sub-topics, according to
their contents.
- Themes with a pluri-dimensional approach in small groups, with
experts in the subject or individualities of recognized merit by their
life experience, from the country and abroad, invited by AEEEMC.
- A debate will follow each presentation.
2. The communications B and C will happen in three rooms
simultaneously. There is a fourth room especially reserved for the
presentation of subjects, which may not be directly related to the main
themes, but considred of interest by the Scientific Comission, and also
for the presentation of videos/films or meetings with the personalities
present in the Congress.
3. Projects in the form of bills/posters ( D ), videos, films, slides
( E ) will be exhibited during the Congress, on day and place to indicate.
4. There will also be an exhibition of reception brochures of health
institutions ( national and foreign institutions ), during the
Congress.
5. The communications' summaries, bills and others ( B, C, D, and E )
must be sent to the President of the Congress until 31 December 1996.
You will be informed of the selection results until 31 January 1997.
6. Prizes will be awarded to the research works ( 1st, 2nd, 3rd and
youth prize, in money and honourable mentions ) by the Jury's decision.
A prize will be awarded to the best bill/poster and reception brochure
by the Jury and the members of the Congress.
Participation Rights
The members of the Congress have the right to:
. Information about the Congress.
. Participate in the contests with their own or group projects and
to be informed of the results.
The Scientific Comission intends to publish the ones with a
higher level.
. Folder with supporting material to the Congress.
. Brochure with summaries of the communications.
. Allusive medal ( worth more than 2.000$00 ).
. Coffees.
. Entertainment programm
- Cultural soire and rice pudding ( "arroz doce" ) - Dinner, followed
by a dancing party ( 14/03/97 ) - Cultural visits - Others
. Participation conditions in the Congress activities
- Sitting place ( limited inscriptions ) - Simultaneous translation -
