Points are the same as in F1: 1st - 10 2nd - 6 3rd - 4 4th - 3 5th - 2 6th - 1 Manufacturers championship: 2 (and only 2) designated cars in each of the 14 rallys. Every result counts. Only Ford, Mitsubishi and Subaru will participate. Drivers championship: every result counts. There is no need for the driver to be enrolled. Groupe N (drivers): Points: only the first 6 of the groupe will have points (same scheme as above), and they add points for their position in the class (1st - 3, 2nd - 2, 3rd - 1). 13 results count (meaning, there is one that can be discarded), and it is necessary to participate in a non-european rally. World cup (2 liters): the constructors entering must participate in 10 rallys (2 non-european) with 2 cars per rally. The 8 best results count. Note that these rules (cooked with the complicity of David Richard from Subaru) have made a lot of seats disappear. In the gold old days (not so long ago), 3 manufacturers would employ up to 4 drivers each (not all in each rally, usually only 3 cars), that is 12 top seats total, since with the first 10 marking points (and the cars not very reliable) it was worthwile. Now the same 3 manufacturers have 3 drivers full-time in total plus 3 drivers who are either paying (Ok, Schwarz is good, or at least interesting), or only part-time. -- http://www.mat.uc.pt/~rps/rally_95/ an ex-tifoso since 95/11/13 .pt is Portugal| `Whom the gods love die young'-Menander (342-292 BC) Europe | Villeneuve 50-82, Toivonen 56-86, Senna 60-94
