Abstract:

We study the fully nonlinear quenching problem and establish sharp \( C^{1,\alpha}_{loc} \)−estimates and optimal growth at the free boundary in two distinct scenarios: the uniformly parabolic case and the degenerate elliptic case with oscillatory singularities. For the former, we refine, in particular, the recent asymptotic results in [5].
