The Probability and Statistics Group has a main focus on theoretical aspects of statistical methodologies, keeping a view into applications. The primary areas of interest include stochastic orders and their applications in testing and order statistics, nonparametric methods in estimation and testing, with a special concern on kernel-based methodologies, and time series analysis, particularly, discrete-valued models. The group also develops applied research in health areas and is committed to extending these applied collaborations.
