We use hydrodynamical N-body simulations of large scale-structure to investigate the hot gas mass distribution of hundreds of simulated Galaxy Clusters, covering a wide range of mass. We study the impact of radiative gas physics, namely cooling and pre-heating, and address to the effect of limited resolution on the derived profiles.
