Welcome to the web site of the Workshop on Nonparametric Inference - WNI2008.
The Workshop on Nonparametric Inference will take place at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Coimbra, Portugal, from June 26 to June 28, 2008.
The Workshop is organized under the auspices of CIM (International Center for Mathematics).

The Journal of Nonparametric Statistics (JNPS) has agreed to devote a special issue of the journal to papers inspired from the workshop. This will not be a Proceedings volume; rather, it will serve as a venue for people to publish their papers in a special-theme issue of the journal that is devoted to Nonparametrics and related topics. Papers will be refereed as usual.
Papers should be submitted electronically to the Journal's manuscript central site: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/gnst. Authors will be asked upon submission whether their paper is for a special issue and there is a field for them to include the special issue title.
Deadline for submission: Sept. 30, 2008.
