In this work, we report the statistical analysis of metric type III bursts recorded in metric frequency range (45 - 870 MHz) by CALLISTO-BR (Compound Astronomical Low frequency Low Cost Instrument for Spectroscopy and Transportable Observatory) spectrographs, in operation at Cachoeira Paulista, Brazil, since 2010. Assuming an improved density model and the emission at second harmonic, the beam parameters of type III bursts are determined. The observational and physical parameters for 292 isolated type III bursts recorded between January and December of 2010 were estimated. The average values obtained for this sample are: the electron density of 5.0 x 107 cm-3; the heliocentric distance of the emitting source of 1.4 solar radii; the electron beam velocity of 1.4 x 105 km/s; the intensity of the magnetic field at the acceleration region of about 2 G; the temperature of the emitting source of 2 x 106 K; the total number of electrons in the beam of 1.7 x 1033 electrons and the beam density of 2.3 x 105 cm-3. These preliminary results will be extended for the sample of type III bursts recorded between 2011 and 2014 and they will be presented and discussed.
